Not long ago I was showing Point Loma homes to a delightful couple relocating from out of state when it occurred to me that it was well past noon and I was beginning to fade. As it was one of those typically warm southern California days we decided to head for Point Loma Seafoods on Emerson Street to get a seafood picnic.
Well armed with scallop sandwiches and salads we drove along the undulating roadway atop Point Loma Peninsula stopping at the entrance to the Bayside Trail at the Cabrillo National Monument. Down the trail we went through rocky terrain and Chaparral brush to the western shoreline and the world famous Point Loma tide pools, sparkling below the sandstone cliffs. What a delightful afternoon.
